How Did Maude’s Book Club start?
If you’ve heard about Maude Garrett being an Aussie Host in America, then you know that she founded ‘Geek Bomb’. After 10 years of creating a safe “geek” space for everyone, Maude shifted to a more niche, cozy corner of the Internet because of her love of books. Here at MBC, the community decides which books to read per month and Maude Garrett connects authors with our wonderful community during book chat.
On top of that, the community will hold everyone accountable to finish their TBR pile. When you become a member of ‘Maude’s Book Club’ you are able to join the live Twitch show and get exclusive access only via Discord voice channel every first and second Wednesday of each month. You will also get access to the Book Recommendations Doc where you can add your book recs for us to choose from and the Book Discussion Doc where you can add your thoughts, quotes, and questions. Additionally, you will get access to 24/7 Book channels to talk about recs, current books, and reading goals.
As a book club member, you get a Discord role and of course, you will be a part of a wonderful community. You will get to vote on MBC decisions, like upcoming books and the schedule for each month. Also, you will be able to submit questions to authors for Q&As and enter into book giveaways.

Amanda Tassone
You’ll find Amanda Tassone aka ‘Tass’ in the Discord, on Patreon and moderating on Twitch, making sure the community is all looked after! She loves plants, has been successfully sucked into BookTok and her favourite book series is ‘The Hunger Games’.
Matti
Matti is an avid reader and writer with a background in journalism. Their love for video games and anime sparked their interest in storytelling. Leading them to practice their reading and writing skills with fanfiction. Their dedication to reading inspired them to write and share their own stories.
Amanda Guarragi
Amanda is the writer here at Maude’s Book Club and is set on delivering quality book content. She isn’t an avid reader, but her love for movies and television as an entertainment journalist has pushed her into making reading a priority.
