From Book to Screen: Romancing Mister Bridgerton by Julia Quinn
For the past couple of years, Netflix has had grand success with the help of this series and the brilliant characters by Julia Quinn. Each season allows for a new couple to take the spotlight. The series has been a reminder that so many of us need love stories in our lives. The dating scene has changed drastically because of technology, so going back to the Regency Era to find romance has been well-needed.
Romancing Mister Bridgerton by Julia Quinn is the fourth novel in the Bridgerton series and highlights Penelope Featheringtonβs marriage to Colin Bridgerton. The longtime friends slowly find themselves at a crossroads as the yearning is now reciprocated. Colin does not know how or why this shift in perspective happened, all he knows is that he needs Penelope by his side at all times.
5 Reasons To Pick Up A Brandon Sanderson Book
Maude Garrett has always been a fan of Brandon Sanderson and we have even covered the Mistborn series for Book Club! Thereβs something so special about Sandersonβs novels. He brings such charm and wit to his characters.

Ranking The βBridgertonβ Couples
The Bridgerton siblings all find their spotlight in each novel. Quinn wanted to make her characters memorable, so she named them in order of the alphabet. Itβs quite cheeky and very effective. Now with the hype of the Netflix Original Series fans of the show have turned to the books.
Julia Quinnβs ability to write a sweet love story with such character depth and spicy moments between them is unmatched. Itβs easy to get through one of her books because of her love for these characters. Of course, some love stories are better than others, but that comes down to romantic preference.
Book Review: βFunny Storyβ by Emily Henry
Funny Story by Emily Henry shows the beauty in friendships and rediscovering yourself. Itβs a refreshing read and thereβs a level of honesty that has been hard to find in other romance novels. Henry has always been realistic with her characters and theyβve all felt grounded. Itβs never just about romantic relationships, but how everyone can be affected by others in their lives. Where can trauma or loss stem from and how does that manifest into something else?
The βTomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrowβ by Gabrielle Zevin Has Found Its Director!
Maude Garrett even interviewed her and told Zevin how much this book affected her. Itβs a beautiful novel that many readers didnβt expect to love as much as they did. Zevinβs writing is a gut punch to the soul as she crafts a stunning relationship between two people.
Paramount Studios had acquired the rights to the book in 2021 before its publishing date in 2022. It has taken quite a bit of time to develop everything, news broke out over the weekend that has fans of the best-selling novel soaring.

If You Like βDark Ageβ By Pierce Brown
We have followed this series for book club and have plenty of HOWLERS in our discord community. Maude Garrett has had in-depth discussions with Pierce Brown for every single book in the series and he has had some well-needed insight.
If you are a fan of the Red Rising Saga, there are more fantasy/sci-fi books out there to pick up. Dark Age may feel like a heavy read because itβs 704 pages, but Brown makes it feel like a breeze. Thereβs so much to tackle in this fifth instalment.

It's World Book Day! Did you know that UNESCO created World Book Day on April 23rd, 1995? As someone born that year, seeing an annual event for readers everywhere after 29 years is amazing.
It is marked in over 100 countries around the globe and the first World Book Day was held in the UK and Ireland in 1997. World Book Day events were held on March 7th. And next year it will be on March 6th.
